SAME PRECISION & LONGEVITY
COMPLETED BRICK MAKING MACHINERY
Brick Machines That Deliver the Reliability and Performance of New Equipment
COMPLETE BRICK MACHINES
PJR Engineering aims to assist businesses that want to start brick plants or expand their existing plants with locally manufactured PMSA machinery like VB4X brick machines. These machines have proven reliability and longevity. We do not manufacture new brick machines. Instead, we focus on refurbishing existing used brick machines with proven industry track records.
- Our offers include the following:
- The pan mixer VB4 brick machine is a versatile, locally manufactured used brick machine.
- VB2 used brick machines are ideal for small-scale operations with typical production rates of 6 000 M140 hollow blocks, 18 000 stock bricks, and 12 000 maxi bricks per nine-hour shift.
- VB4 and VB4X brick machines are better suited for larger scale operations with production rates of 18 000 M140 hollow blocks, 90 000 stock bricks, and 38 000 maxi bricks per nine-hour shift.
VB4/VB4X Brick Machines
PMSA block-making machines are used for manufacturing concrete bricks, blocks and paving. These machines are manufactured to heavy-duty standards to ensure longevity, high performance, and quality product manufacturing. The PMSA VB4/VB4X brick machines are reliable and built to last, owing to their robust, heavy-duty channel frame. Due to the high productivity, technology, and lifespan of the VB4/ VB4X brick machines, they can produce industrial-strength, high-quality products with low production costs for decades.

“Every brick machine that passes through our workshop is carefully dismantled, inspected, and refurbished to like-new condition. We sandblast, repair, and replace critical components, ensuring the machine operates with the same precision and longevity as when it was first manufactured.”
- Features include the following:
- 30mm hard-wearing pins secured by locking plates and fitted to M30 self-aligning swivel bearings for trouble-free, long-life operations.
- Hard-chromed columns and split Vesconylon brushes for easy replacement and maximum wear resistance.
- Heavy-duty balancing shaft to keep the machine tamper perfectly aligned.
- Precision-ground machine tamper and vibrator tables.
- Two 7.5kW single-shaft vibrators mounted on a single vibration table for vertical directional vibration.
- Precision-made, hard-wearing mould boxes and tampers according to customer specifications.
- Fully automatic operation with variable frequency vibration.
- Complete hydraulic and electronic control panels.
- P1000 or P1500 counter-current pan mixer.
- Semi- or fully automatic weigh batching, pallet, and product handling systems.
- Production capacity of 130 000 bricks or 70 000 pavers, or 1 500 pallets of hollow bricks per nine-hour shift, depending on product size.
- Electronic PLC control for change of pre-vibration, change of feed box movement, number of feed strokes, and number of pre-vibrations during operation. As a result, there is an instant adaption to change moisture contents and aggregate consistency without stopping the machine.
Our aggregate batching plant is designed to deliver precisely measured quantities of raw materials to the mixer. Considering the brick machine’s size and site conditions, we design our system to meet our clients’ requirements.
The most significant advantages of the aggregate batching plant system are lower maintenance costs, lower labour costs and waste saving. In addition, each batch is weighed consistently and combined with accurate water and cement metering, delivering a consistent mixture every time.
- Optional add-ons:
- High-performance hydraulics.
- Ceramic lining of feed box(es) table.
- Hydraulic oil cooling and/or heating systems.
- Pneumatic mould clamping.
- Linear and shaft encoders to replace proximity switches.
- Top feed/secondary feed for colouring to tops of bricks and pavers.
